District 3
Accountability Tracker
What I said. What I Did. What Changed.
Accountability builds trustAccountability is my top priority
During the campaign, I told District 3 families what I would work on if elected. This page is where you can check the progress.
Each issue below has its own page with the same structure: what I said during the campaign, where things stood when I took office, what I've done, what the Board and the administration have done, and whether anything measurable changed. Those are different things, and I keep them separate on purpose. Asking a question at a meeting is not a result. Spending money is not a result. A result is something you can measure.
Some of this will move slowly. Some proposals won't pass. Some of my assumptions will turn out to be wrong. When that happens, it stays on the page. I won't rewrite what I told voters to make the outcome look better.
What one Board member can and can’t do
The Board of Education sets policy, approves the budget, hires the superintendent, and holds the system accountable. It does not run schools day to day, and no single member directs staff. I'm one vote of five. Every issue page lists the Board's role so it's clear whether something is a policy, budget, oversight, or administrative matter.
